The BNP Paribas Open contributed $750,000 to The Champions Volunteer Foundation in 2025, representing the tournament’s largest annual donation to the foundation since it was established in 2001.

This donation brings the organization’s historic fundraising figure well beyond $4 million, a display of continued support for a program that benefits over 100 non-profits in the Coachella Valley through grants. These local charities include youth, recreational, educational and well-care programs such as the Boys & Girls Club, YMCA and American Red Cross.

In addition to awarding annual non-profit grants, the Foundation strengthens its ties to the community by fostering volunteer participation at the BNP Paribas Open. Each March, TCVF joins forces with more than 1,500 dedicated volunteers who bring the tournament to life in roles ranging from ushers and greeters to ball crew and transportation support. Their generosity and spirit of service create a ripple effect that extends well beyond the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, enriching the entire Coachella Valley.

Since 2023, the BNP Paribas Open and TCVF have honored key community members in the Coachella Valley with Celebrating Community Heroes, a special in-stadium recognition that highlights the stories of local volunteers.
